Operation Vengeance. Target: Diebold
Here are Diebold's stocks for the past 6 months, if only we could find a way to attack them financially.

1. why attack?
Everyone buy one share, then show up en masse at the stockholders meeting and speak your mind.

3. Their discussion room
on the yahoo stock market report site has had an ongoing debate with people(some obviously DUers). Initials DBD. I doubt it has much effect, but by all means give their troll police more headaches. Big lawsuits are still racing with bigger contracts and growing dissatisfaction with the "quality" of the product and its controverisal or criminal uses.

It seems just one of those things lately that no proper accountability attaches to even open crime unless Spitzer slaps a fine. The best way to ruin them is to supprt an hoinest competitor or oppose their part in the HAVA reforms state by state, county by county.

4. I say boycott their customers
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 09:31 AM by melissinha
You can't boycott them directly... just hurt their customers and send letters to them telling them why..

Example:

When I find a bank in Texas that doesn't contribute over 60% of pac money to republicans, http://www.buyblue.org/categories.php?parent_id=67 like Bank of the West which isn't here YET.....
I will QUIT Bank of America which is one of Diebold's biggest customers and I will tell them why in a letter. I would prefer to do it along with a lot of other people to make a point though....
Bank of America, Charlotte, N.C., has signed a $71 million, seven-year ATM servicing agreement with Diebold, North Canton, Ohio.

"We need to do more. The only thing that matters to the right is money. Their love of money is their greatest weakness (as well as their greatest source of strength). If we want to be heard we need to hit them where they will feel it most…their profits. " From deb110204 at Smirkingchimp.com
