No. The current administration has dug us in so deep it will take awhile even with a dem in the white house for us to be respected again.

7. They've had more than their fair share of fascists too
I think they understand what we're going through. Their trust will never be completely restored. However by impeaching * they might at least have some respect for our framework.

8. If he is impeached & convicted...
If Bush is impeached & convicted (Something unlikely even if they caught Bush on tape raping 10 year old boys & then shooting them in the head) then, much of the Western world will regain respect for us.

However, we'd still have a long ways to go with the Islamic world.

As you said * with his backing from the empire and the skulls could probably never be convicted of anything.

I guess the larger issue is that the world has been enslaved by a few masters disguised as corporate interest.
