they are ACCOMPLICES. If they admit they lied, they go down right along with *.
I truly believe Blair was duped and Powell, went along albeit unwillingly. Now that both have signed on to the biggest lie in history, they can't back down.
Have you ever told a lie that you wish you hadn't and then it just got bigger and bigger and you had to make more stuff up? Well, it seems to me that's what they are doing. And eventually, just like the little lies we tell, they will be exposed.
The best thing about Powell's appearance was, his statement is on the record in contrast to what we know he presented to justify the war and in contrast to his meltdown before he presented that tripe.
Let them keep lying. It will catch up with them.

1. Powell and Blair have absolutely no conscience. None at all. O'Neil and |
|
Clark and Kay all took that one big step out of the realms of evil fantasy into the truth and yes, they most assuredly paid for it. But in the long run they will be recognized as men of conscience and in the end integrity.
Those two buffoon bastards never will. They'll go down in history as the duplicitous lying whores that they are. All they'll have to do to remind future generations of Tony Blair is say the words 'arf arf'. For Powell they just need to hold up a little glass tube.
That's their legacy.
