Dean needs to keep kicking Republican ass and NGU
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 08:59 PM by steve2470
Why ? Because almost none of the other Dems will. I used to be sooooooo naiive about the Republicans. And I'm not one of those idiot freeper rednecks so adored here on DU (sarcasm off). From reading DU, I've been enlightened. But, think about the poor schmucks who never read these boards and who rarely or never pick up political books or newsmagazines or anything educational, for that matter. Dr. Dean has to spoon feed them, so to speak. The Repugs and corporate media damn sure aren't going to give the truth to the people. We can't ask Dean to say everything perfect. He's in a no win situation. If he plays nice, he's vilified as a kiss ass. If he plays hardball, then all hell breaks loose. At least the Republicans have to desperately try to prove him wrong. Then, the ELECTED Dems. can pretend that he's the cranky, obstreperous uncle of the party and then tone down his remarks to the exact, nuanced truth.

edit: deleted poor choice of words
