Bush at Penn State Tuesday, Bryn Mawr perhaps as well

Centre County is preparing for its first visit from President George W. Bush.

Plans are for Bush to speak to the 2005 FFA conference Tuesday at Eisenhower Auditorium on Penn State's campus, according to sources. Bush reportedly will talk about Social Security and the need for reforming the program to allow for personal retirement accounts.

Penn State officials directed inquiries to the White House press office. A White House spokesman said today that announcements about Bush's schedule for the upcoming week will be made Friday.

But several sources, including police, confirmed that Bush will be here to talk Tuesday at a time to be announced.
