US Labor Against the War has organized a visit from six Iraqi union organizers. Between June 10 and June 26 they will visit more than 20 cities and will speak at many public events. (See the list below for the schedule.)
Iraqi laborers are courageously fighting for a progressive and secular Iraq.
Not surprisngly, the Bush Administration has not lifted Saddam Hussein's ban on union organizing.
Please support these representatives of the working people of Iraq who are fighting for a progressive, secular and democratic future.
This is a rare opportunity when we as individuals can show solidarity with the Iraqi people.http://uslaboragainstwar.org/calendar.phpWashington, DC: Plymouth Church Reception and Presentation featuring Iraqi Labor Leaders
