6. I talked with a co-worker who has a son in Iraq
She said she is deeply hurt that neither the president nor anyone else talks about the Iraqi war and our kids over there. She says it's like it doesn't exist. She mirrored my thoughts completely but I hadn't expressed that to her before because I did not know how she felt. It was the same that happened in Vietnam.

Let's not examine it, let's not talk about it was the Vietnam spiel.

Our people in Afghanistan are treated with even less acknowledgment from the President and the media. It is truly a shame.

8. figure out how much
The Iraq's freedom has cost him personally. this war is going to top out at what, 600 billion? 700? 800? Figuring 300 million americans, if i'm doing my math right...

Each man woman and child will be foot a $2,666 tab for the Iraq's freedom.

How many more countries do we need to spread freedom to?

Syria? Cha-ching, that will be $2,666 Mr. Freeper.

Iran? Cha-ching, $3,000.

North Korea? Cha-ching. $5,000.

We need to start talking about this war for what it was. A boondoogle for Bush-family connected cronies. Do you think its a coinicidence that Cheney went to go work for Hallburtion, or that the Bush family has such huge investments in KBR? Follow the money, Mr. Freeper.

9. Out of sight out of mind.
The so called "liberal media" has adopted the policy of, anything that is not shown in the print will not cross anyone's mind.

So now the cronies have successfully brainwashed many freepers into thinking they are spreading democracy, when in truth they're lining their pockets with money and power.

13. If what is happening in Iraq
is what "freedom" looks like, we are in serious trouble all over the world. Those we have liberated have now become terrorists. Up is down. War is peace. Heaven is Hell.

15. I will attend the funeral of the 19 year old Idaho soldier girl
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 01:29 AM by Erika
and posting her obit, etc. The family hopes to have her body here and the funeral arrangements by the end of next week.

I guess if we don't get in the public's face, they will just ignore these kids who are dead from Bush's wars.
