Rachel Maddow joining MSNBC next week!

I just heard her say this at the end of her show- I hope I wasn't dreaming!

In my opinion, she's one of the best things about Air America. Her show is on early, but one can "podcast" or listen to shows after the fact online with any program that will run MP3 files.

3. She had a program called "Unfiltered" on Air America Radio

until the end of March; then it was cancelled and they gave her a one hour slot at 4am. She is gay, has a PhD in political science, very smart and well spoken lady.

6. I'd be more hopeful if she was being hired by MSNBC...

She would give a desperately needed truth-telling EDGE, to the ruthlessly watered down, raped MSNBC of today.

she said she's supposed to be on the same show Tucker is...regularly...like every time it's on! I loved when she was talking about the gig. She said she's nervous and she did sound nervous. She thanked MSNBC for giving her the opportunity and said she looks like no one else on TV and that you should have seen the look the wardrobe lady gave her when she saw her. :)

I don't have cable but I'm very very happy for her. This is great....She said someone else would be on with her but I didn't catch the name...

13. She is on 4am to 5am CST so I don't hear her unless I am having

trouble sleeping or my dog wakes me up. But she packs a lot of information into that hour that I don't hear from anyone else on AAR.
And I don't think she's giving up the radio show, but she's going to be keeping some strange hours!

she's a formidable intellect that refuses to back down. and she has the truth, and good ol' elbow grease, beside her, unlike tucker.
