Why is Bush unable to see the pain that people across the Midwest will
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 07:06 AM by KlatooBNikto
feel as GM implodes? Is there something he can do to stem the tide of red ink at GM and save the jobs?

His callousness reinforecd by ideological blindness and arrogance is going to bring down an entire industry that has sustained hundreds of thousands of people for over seventy five years.

Even a tenth of what he is spending on Iraq would have helped the people at GM.I am sick of the Republicans and their moronic allegiance to unproven economic theories.

1. Well, see, you would have to have a SOUL for that to happen . ..
In the Bush family, souls are eaten at birth.

2. He doesn't see it because
he doesn't care to look. It holds no interest for him.

4. A Cuple Of Points
First of all, not just the mid-West will hurt if/when GM implodes, it will be the whole country. Worse in the mid-West, true.

And help GM, are you referring to a bail out or corporate welfare? Do we trust GM to use the money to help save the workers and not just pad the pockets of their CEOs and move more operations offshore?

6. That's a good point
It's hard to justify a bail out while the CEO is making over $4 million a year, plus stock options. I couldn't bring myself to ask for a handout under those circumstances, if I were the CEO.

5. He doesn't care.
That smiling, affable, friendly facade is just that; a facade.
