But Wisconsin also has Dave Obey...a great Democrat who needs to be running a committee when we retake the House. He's from Eau Claire...further north and west...and closer to Minnesota than Sensenbrenner.

Also, Les Apsin, another great Democrat was from the same area as Sensenbrenner. I guess someone musta pissed in a batch of those beer bottles. :grin:

My hopes are there's a picture of Sensennbrenner in some liederhosen with some little boys.

His stance on immigration is even more contorted. A lot of his draconian Patriot games comes from his xenophobia...and he gets props from corporate mediatypes like Lou Dobbs...just fueling his ego.

Listening to him on the house floor or watching him in committee is absolute torture as he's sure to go onto some right wing tangent with his smarmy "indignation".

Problem is he's from the old-guard areas of Southern Wisconsin...polkas, brats and Ripon Repugnicans only. Last year I attended a wedding in West Bend and these people all but live on the farm subsidies he brings to the area.
