That things like DV and sexual assault were important in the progressive platform. Yet not a single substantive response.

Here's a snippet:
SUDBURY, ONTARIO-June 8, 2005 — Allyson Lace will have to serve 30 more days in jail for grabbing her fiance where it hurts.
Prosecutors in Sudbury, Ontario, charge Lace and her fiance got into an argument. After kicking, punching and scratching him, prosecutors say she grabbed him by the testicles.
According to authorities, the fiance had to whack Lace over the head with his arm cast to make her let go. Police say the woman also kicked the inside of a police cruiser and struck an officer in the eye.
Now, I would like to ask the OP why he would have placed this in a women's issues forum. AND, to correct his assertion that she received only 30 days for this assault. If you actually read the article, she has been jailed since the May 10th incident and received 30 additional days from the judge. (Is this why there were not snippets from the article in the OP? Was it intentionally misleading?)
On more thing... Do you actually think that a man would have served MORE time for such an assault? Is that what you are implying?
