Sludge Headline: RNC CHAIR GREETS "FELLOW WHITE REPUBLICANS"
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 10:35 AM by UdoKier
The link to the story doesn't work,(not a surprise - she loves to put up dead links) but who wants to bet that Mehlman got all of the half dozen extras the GOP uses as token blacks at all of their conventions and sat them in the from of the theater for the cameras (and made sure to dress one in muslim garb and put a star of David necklace on the most "Jewish-looking" WASP attendee they could find?

Why do I ever, ever visit Sludge? Feel free to slap me.

1. I used to check out Sludge and Faux occasionally but I've managed
to break myself of it.

In a way it is good to know what crap they are spewing but it is definitely bad for the blood pressure.

5. Haven't been to Sludge since Nov.
I don't even pause of faux when scanning the channels.

I've pretty much put CNN on that list too.

They're proven liars, attacking our democracy with the blood of innocents on their hands. And I just don't care what they have to say anymore.

11. I used to have all the news channels (even Faux) and the C-spans
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 10:55 AM by Pirate Smile
on my Favorites to flip through. Faux has been off that for at least a year.

edit to add - Now I usually have MSNBC on but MUTED while I stream AAR so I'm getting weaned off all the news channels actually.

2. It's not Gillespie anymore.
The new RNC chair is Ken Mehlman, who is Jewish.

I agree with Dean's comment, and I think it's important to get that out there, but the pukes are SO much better at this game than we are.

7. redundancy
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 10:54 AM by tmorelli415
is such wasteful prose... and with the dial-up bandwidth in Mississippi such a commodity, too...

Drudge just sucks up bandwidth as usual - remember the "giant sucking sound?" I think it originally referred to the sound of Right Wing hacks as their lips flap in the wind. The sucking has become deafening these days... How rude of them...

<sarcasm>

I always thought being a Logcabin Republican or a Jewish Republican must be sort of like becoming a black member of the KKK - Did you ever see the episode of 'The Jeffersons' where George mistakenly joins a KKK meeting and stands up, "hey, I'm with ya." I mean, they didn't ask George to leave and they can't really object, but it makes you wonder if that 15% non-white members of the GOP accidentally went to the wrong meeting once and jsut never bothered to correct the mistake. When you show up for the wrong class on the first day of college, you always know becaue the professor says, "This is White Christian Wingnut 101 - if you are not here for that class you may want to leave now and go to the registrars office to determine where your correct class meets." Seems only fair that they announce at the beginning of their Republican conventions, "This is Screw the Fags, Ignore the Blacks (Who?), Blame the Poor Welfare for the Rich Christian Wingnut 101 - if you meant to show up at a different party convention, please leave now." (15% of attendees politely gather their papers and leave quietly through the rear exit.)

8. 82% of GOP are white Christians. Dean is factually correct. the GOP just
wants to keep the lie that they are including blacks, Mexicans, gays, and Muslims. when we all know they are the
Party of exclusion and the Dem's are the party of inclusion

it's like a bunch of chickens voting for colonel sanders. minorities and anyone who makes under 200,000 a year has no business voting for the Redumblican party.

10. I'm sure most GOP gatherings are closet to 99% white.
But there's not a single REAL Christian among them.

12. exactly. when did Jesus ever preach War, Hate, and Greed???
I'm still looking for the passage from God's first son (W is #2 obviously). God even took the time to only write down 10 things since his existence and one of them is THOU SHALT NOT KILL. i am not sure if you can stretch two interpretations out of that, but the GOP hypocrites think so.

13. I like Kristian better for them
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 11:21 AM by tmorelli415
Right Wing Kristians - do you think it makes the point? Or will they just confuse it with Krispy Kreme? "Oh, yum, a doughnut!" "No, honey, that's Jesus come to you in the form of a toaster pastry!"

Thou shalt not kill? Ah, but God can kill and they're just doing His work you know... <God turns his head askance... "hey, don't blame me!"> Mind you, these are the same folks who believe that Mary appeared to them as a grease spot onthe underside of a Texas overpass. Krispy Kreme Jesus and killing in the name of the Lord seems quite plausible when you think of that... To summarize: they're looney - you can't make logic out of that no matter how hard you try - stark raving dangerous loons who wouldn't recognize Jesus if He floated above their heads with a chorus of angels.
