Why is there so much footage of Chaplain James Yee? |
|
I'm honestly curious- I've seen several reports on the alleged spy, and each one has featured different video clips of Yee speaking in what appear to be interviews. No audio, just a picture.
Has he made any public statements? I'd never heard his name before his arrest, so what are these pictures and interview clips from?

2. The military takes so much footage |
|
For PR purposes that it does not use, that I am not surprised there isn't footage of Yee in Afghanistan playing with the children of the detainees.
Serious stuff, as taking anything in or out of Guantanamo describing the layout of pretty much ANTHING there is prohibited and considering the increased number of possible Al Qaeda in Venezuala, Surinam, Guyana and French Guyana, a raid on Guantanao is something that could not bew ruled out. I have a friend in the who spent his ENTIRE tour of duty in Guantanamo and went nuts for six months when he got out of the Navy.

4. I've been to Guantanomo |

and al-Qaida would have a easier time electing Bin-Laden President of the United States than raiding the US Naval Base there...

Do you have a source to support this statement?
Links please.
Without credible support this looks like BS.
Sorry.

3. The Army was using him as part of public relations |
|
campaign to say "See how considerate we are? We're providing Moslem chaplains to the prisoners and Moslem "advisors" to the commanders." That was a big deal a year or so ago.

8. Inly Muslim Chaplain in the Army (IIRC) |
|
There's so much footage of him because of hi propaganda value. He was sent down to Gitmo to minister to the prisoners there and they wanted to get that out toe Muslim World. "Look we may be holding these people without trial or charge, but at least we're letting them pray, and we've even got a Muslim Chaplain down there to look after them. Look! a Muslim in the US Army! see we don't really hate you".
