We need to get the whole country to support the candidate who ran against him last time and will run against him in 2006:
Brian Kennedy

I think Sensenbrenner is the most dangerous representative holding office. :grr:

We should all be screaming for his resignation (the rat bastard)!!! I don't care what the outcome of such a demand would be.

The tyrant should be pinned to the wall for what he did and his resignation should be demanded!!!

8. Just a thought. Why?
Okay, I can see the republican going nuts at the Committee meeting this morning, but to follow it up with a public attack on Dean?

Why?

Doesn't this seem a little excessive, more like a distraction from something else?

Maybe we should start looking around.

If we want to beat the Wingers, we've got to fight like them.

20. Yeah, but we gotta' start somewhere
Here's how the Wingers do it:

First they LABEL someone and jump up and down with their hair on fire ontil the target is BRANDED..

Second, once they have Joe Public's attention and everyone realizes what all the jumping up and down is about, THEN you can go for the jugular using the pre-programmed brand as the motivation..

The public doesn't understand unless you walk them through it. They're not paying attention like WE are.

60. The Winger media tactic
is to make their "Issue" front and center before all else. Our Dems need to stop everything "until the Sensenbrenner matter is resolved we cannot possibly continue business without any RULES. This is not a nation of Senatorial Anarchy". (See, there's that label/brand thing again. They have "Activist Judges, we have "Senatorial Anarchy".) The Dems need to MAKE it a soundbite-worthy story. Stop everything dead in its tracks and there will be nothing else to cover. As in the Schiavo fiasco.

The Dems need to learn how to feed the Media Monster and it will come when hungry.

He can't just adjourn a minority called hearing without unanimous consent or motion/second/vote. If it were a hearing called by the majority, then he can adjourn without unanimous consent or vote. This is per Congresswoman Wasserman on the Randi Rhodes show.

Not yet ... in fact CNN reported on the hearing briefly with a short
clip of witness testimony and made absolutely NO mention of how that hearing ended ignoring the REAL story of the day! This was over an hour after the hearing ended.

...........
great---(not so)---look at what a responder from Finland said!! Europe is listening also to our disgraceful tactics of the 'tyannny of the majority"!!!--and we can not even get our media/press to report on it!!

Fri Jun-10-05 10:32 AM

than the Galloway Senate hearing.

House Rule #11. I watched. Tex scripted his "hissy fit," knowing what he was doing was illegal, but wanting to prove to the Democrats that is a RICH, WHITE, CHRISTIAN Republican, and that their are no rules or laws in the United States that he must abide by. His actions screamed, I am rich. I am white. I am male. I am Christian. I am Republican. I AM ABOVE THE LAW. Rules do not apply to me.

Look at Tex. He is what is wrong with America. He's bully boy rich without a social conscience. His gluttony extends beyond the table. He has taken the most trips of any of the house members. He wants to control your personal information with Real ID. He wants to control you family by making it law that you must report family members. He wants to send your children off to die, but don't ask that chickshit, chickenhawk to serve. He could have joined up in 1968 after he graduated.

I have only ever seen one other politician act as he did. Senator Joseph McCarthy.

blatant abuse of power. A video clip, also available on truthout, should be widely distributed.
I have never seen such uncivilized and arrogant behavior, and I commend all the participating Dems for not losing their civility, as I would have been ready to throw punches, which is quite rare!
