Toyota to raise prices to help GM etc |
|
http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=domesticNews&storyID=8756675&src=rss/domesticNewsGood. I like Hyundai cars. They make excellent cars for the money. Will make them even more competitive and help me re-sale value. Bad for Toyota. I think they are already at their ceiling price for struggling middle class America.

God bless you, bub. I spent 27 years in the music business and it just about ruined my life.

They think they're going to take some GM market share. But it's a mistake. My point is fully loaded Toyota's are expensive enough already. Someone who was going to buy a Highlander will go for the loaded Santa Fe. Someone going for teh Matrix will now get a loaded Tuscon or Kia Sportage. Someone wanting a Scion will choose a Mazda3 . It starts to add up.
