I don't have a lot of contact with Republicans but even with my friends who all vote democratic, when I use the term "creeping fascism" their eyes glaze over.

I don't think they see the danger. I don't think they are aware that men like the Bushistas and Sensenbrenner have ideas that they think are more important than democracy as we know it. Since all my predictions have come true though (things that are common around here) they're not telling me to go away either.

I hope we can reach enough people to make a difference by the 2006 elections, and give Bush the kind of Congress he deserves.
