13. Expect it to get dramatically worse, dramatically quickly |
|
He's been getting barely polite response to his social security scam at his controlled tent meetings, heavily screened crowds and all. The lack of enthusiasm is a rejection he's never had to face in his whole life as a rich boy life of the party. My guess is that with his false confidence destroyed, he's going to decompensate very quickly.
He's a sick man. He's got obvious neurological disease from substance abuse on top of a possible personality disorder. He probably started out at or near normal intelligence, but his upbringing failed to give him any reason for its exercise. As we all know from experience, we use it or lose it.
If we don't see an impeachment, we may well see a resignation.

that people like his obvious incompetence. It makes him non-threatening to them, and they don't feel he is superior to them. Pathetic.
Personally, I would like a President I perceived to be A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT SMARTER than me.
Bush may be getting to be too much even for his fans, though. I overheard a conservative co-worker today making a joke about his lack of intelligence.

So it's not Anyone can grow up to be president, but
Any MORON that's a dummy can grow up to be president, providing he has a lot of money and connections.

17. A lot of us felt that about Blair. |

In 95-98 he struck a lot of us as brtually intelligent, very charismatic, and a wonderful speaker off the cuff. Then, slowly, the dream died as he disappeared into his little court.

It's amazing how these people who have chosen public life (and so presumably care how history will treat them) make the choices that history will crucify them for.

It was a crushing disillusionment for many of us. It goes a long way to explaining the splintered and unpredictable political landscape in Britain right now. Blair led us out of close to 20 years of corrupt RW rule and then he turns into ... that.

You're plainly not British, and you're enjoying the astonishing clarity of hindsight. Blair didn't just win a Labour victory - he smashed the Tory consensus, and ensured that public spending on health and education would be forever centre-stage and sacrosanct. He devolved power to Scotland and Wales and introduced the minumum wage. 1997-2001 was a dizzying period of near-irreversible social reform. For that matter, 1995-1997 was a heady period of party reorganisation - but then, with your remarkable prescient gifts, you were already shaking your head at our "ignorance", hoping that the corrupt Major government remained in power, and saying "Mark my words, in six years that man will be British PM and waging a crusade with an American President who hasn't been elected yet based on a terrorist attack that hasn't happened yet."
Your powers are remarkable.

He lied to go to war, made up a bunch of bogus crap to do it, amazingly "holy men" like Blackwell stole the election for him and he's now caught between a rock and a hard place.
We all need to flood the streets and hold a full public hearing on all of the abuses, including the one and only downing street minutes.......

Real power lies with the Pentagon and Cheney. The elder bush is losing his touch. This is why Rumsfeld openly contradicts the *resident, he is a joke and not in power. Never was. He is the front man for a fascist state run by corporations and led by energy and military lobbyists.

Someone needs to lock the bum up and put him in a rubber room. Then they should melt down the key and use it to make handles for toilets or put it in the bowl so that people can take a piss or a shit on it. Sorry for the language but I am pissed off at the bullshit that is being fed to the American public. :grr:

47. Bush's ten year decline is clearly evident in this comparative video |
|
Ronald Reagan's mental problems were also evident, but ignored... as if pointing out the obvious was too embarassing... let's not shame our president... the lovable 'grandfather' image :sarcasm:.
Well, it's happening again... but this time we have a decompensating psychopath in the WH... a psychopath who is responsible for the death of thousands. There have been numerous 'informal' diagnoses... just google terms such as 'George W. Bush' & 'mental illness', or go to your local library or bookstore... most of us are familiar with this info... but we, the citizens of the USA, are not permitted to know whether this pResident has been examined by a mental health professional, and if so, the results of that examination... yet he remains the 'commander-in-chief' of the world's only superpower... and continues on his sadistic, arrogant path of death and destruction... to the delight of the fanatic RW radical extremists... yeehaw!!!
