From my partner, a new theory on how to win in 2004: Ross Perot needs to come out of retirement and run again.
Yes, Ross, I know you are probably very disillusioned with politics; but surely your hatred of the Bush family has not been diminished during Junior's reign! Come on out and take one for the team! Remember, it's not about electing you; it's about siphoning off deficit-hating but not religiously fanatical Republicans so that one more son of a Bush goes down in flames! Can't you hear that giant sucking sound? And it is a GIANT sucking sound!

It depends on who wins the primary. If you wind up with a free trade candidate, Perot could suck off more from the democrats side than Bush.
Perot as the spoiler is more or less a myth.

The hypocritical Texas munchkin endorsed Bush in 2000. Now that Bush has driven deficits through the roof (Perot's biggest complaint in '92), Perot is silent.
Someone should ask Perot what he thinks of Bush now.
