the San Francisco Chronicle can be read at
http://sfgate.com/alicia/.It's a very personal account of her discovery that she has cancer and her subsequent ordeals and how it affects her relationship with those around her. It just reminded me so much of those in my family who have been taken by this dreadful disease and how precious each day is. This disease causes so much tragedy and pain in our society that you wonder why we don't spend the billions we waste in places like in Iraq or to pad some billionaire's bank account on an all out drive to find a cure.
Who knows how many cases are being caused by the garbage that these companies (now more than ever) pollute our air, waters and food?
