Look at how many smear articles are being written, and how much time and energy the right wing pundits are spending trying to discredit him. Drudge is obviously obsessed with Clark, just check out his site, novak just tried to smear him, Evil Ann bashed him on Hannity and milksop the other night, and the list goes on.

Interestingly enough they usually try to say something good about Dean, every time they try smack Clark, hmmmmmm I wonder what their strategy is.

(Settle down Deanies, I like Dean as well, I just think Clark is our BEST chance to win in 04.)

Bush and Gore. I heard him say the two main parties have become almost the same thing but I never heard him say Bush* and Gore were the same. There is a huge difference and I happen to agree with him in the most part. Yes Gore and Bush* are two entirely different people and would behave differently but the Democratic party as a whole has left me wanting. I find little in what they have done lately that actually seperates them from the republicans. Hell they voted for most of Bush*'s agenda. Where is the difference? When they start behaving as an opposition party then maybe I'll think twice but until then there isn't a lot of difference being demonstrated.

To say that Nader didn't try to push the idea that there was no difference between Bush and Gore is like saying that the White House didn't push the idea that Iraq was involved in 9/11.

All this negative press is probably not going to stick to him, for one, and for two it will show the voting public what the GOP is REALLY about, especially since Clark has thus far refrained from any kind of bashing on Bush that was not issue-related. All these personal attacks will shoot the GOP in the foot if they aren't careful. If they want to do that though, more power to them!
