CLOVIS, Calif. - The chant began late in the fourth quarter in the basketball gym at Clovis East High. The students started it first, clapping their hands in unison and pounding the bleachers with their feet.

1. Wonderful story about an extremely unusual young man.
Unusual because most of the people in his shoes don't have the ability to concentrate on a goal the way that he did.

Most coaches wouldn't have let him play.

Its a wonderful story, it just shouldn't be considered realistic to start expecting other autistics to do what he did.
