Welcome to another edition of the WILL-AM Media Matters email update!

THIS WEEK'S GUEST
-------------------------------

This week our guest is Greg Palast, the investigative reporter whose
work has appeared on the BBC, and in The Washington Post, Harper's,
and The Nation. and elsewhere. Palast is the author of the New York
Times bestseller “The Best Democracy Money Can Buy,” a book Michael
Moore has called “courageous reporting.” He has uncovered fraud and
corruption in the highest seats of power. Much of his reportage is
available on his website: http://gregpalast.com/ . This is a pre-
recorded program.

UPCOMING GUESTS
-------------------------------

In coming weeks we will feature interviews with Norman Solomon and
Mark Crispin Miller and excerpts from the 'Can freedom of the press
survive media consolidation?' conference run recently on the campus
of the University of Illinois.

LAST WEEK'S GUEST
-------------------------------

Last week's guest on Media Matters was Tim Robbins.

2. did you hear this is hell today?
the guy in Bolivia was awe-inspiring, as are the indigenous people there.

THEY know how to deal with a corrupt government.

also mentioned was an ad for US travel in Venezuela:

"Come to Venezuela and find out what democracy is like"
