Letter to editor that hits the nail on the head

From the Sunday Portland Oregonian:
"Other than telling us how to live, think, marry, pray, vote, invest, educate our children and, now, die, I think the Republicans have done a fine job of getting government out of our personal lives."
An on-line friend send me this quote but I can't find the link.

But I do have a link for this one - It's good to know that there are people out there that get it and that some papers are willing to print there letters.

"That there are so many voters out there with such lack of knowledge of public finance tells me that most people are simply too lazy to find the facts and vote solely on the basis of their pre-existing prejudice. This is truly frightening."
