had no clue really about what they were talking about. The intolerance ("God hates gays-Jesus hates gays") and ignorance (the idea that the ACLU is in business solely to promote a gay agenda, and that God is mentioned in the Constitution) is mind boggling.
Problem with me is I would have pushed "2" supporting gay marriage and wouldn't have had a chance to talk with them at all.....

I don't know what the original post was --- "BLANK" now, but:

I always ask for a specific reference (Book, Chapter, Verse) where Christ states "I hate gays".
I've never found it, but then again, I've never scoured the New Testament and other gospels dealing with the teachings of Jesus looking for anti-gay rhetoric.
One thing I am certain of - Jesus (Christ of 'Holy Bible' reknown --- I always include this further clarification for the ignoramous) - repeatedly proseletized tolerance and abhorred intolerance. Then, suggest a willingness to continue the discussion after they've actually acquainted themselves with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
