these are the statistics for our side so far, and counting the dead in iraq is a tricky business at best, but estimates range from 50 to 100,000. also the 3,000 dead on nine eleven, and the dead in afghanistan on both sides, and the bodies start piling up nazi style.

look at the long trail of dead people in bush's wake. and look at the long trail of dead people stretching out into the future. follow the money, and follow the dead people.

I print these numbers out everyday on little slips of paper, with ww.downingstreetmemo.com on the other side and leave them just about everywhere I go!

I am considering adding the quote "it is necessary to create the conditions" and adding it to the bottom of the numbers.

That makes 105,000 deaths to the legacy of George W. Bush. And I'm sure that he has no problem sleeping at night because he has no conscious nor guilt.

"When you kill 1 man, it is a tragedy. When you kill 10 million, it is a statistic."
- Joseph Stalin

Edit: Quote added

4. Try to remember that the deaths in Afghanistan
were necessary because they shielded the people who attacked us.

It is ironic that the terrorists were created by us, but that is the kind of irony which frequently occurs in real worlds and in real wars.

The deaths in Iraq were a distraction from the pursuit of terrorists and the war there deliberately begun by this administration to inflame the Middle East into an eternal war that would lead either to Armageddon, or continual windfalls to American military contractors - or both. That war was criminal and even more so because it was built on the necessity of the other.

9. Al Qaeda attacked us, silly billy
and were being sheltered by the religious tyrants in Afghanistan; both had to go ...

except of course that the religious tyrants in the U.S. decided it was better to excite their political base by igniting a holy war across Islam. This seems clear to me - why isn't it to you?
