Visualizing 1,700 (if that is even possible)
each O represents a US soldier,
I wouldn't even attempt this with Iraqi numbers.

and all that goes with those who have been put on the edge. God bless their families, also.

Bush is blind to this though it should have played a major role in his "hard" decision to bait the country into a senseless war.

check out the clip on the left here.

and his daughters haven't signed up (you would think they would to support daddy)

After all Dumbya went to war to support his daddy, surely his daughters would do the same?

6. There is a site
that is very comprehensive about the Crime against Humanity.

http://www.purposeless.com/

Also known as Operation Iraqi Freedom (from Life) is tallies all the casualties and the cost on a minute by minute basis.
The only thing, is that the Iraq Body Count is what comes out as the official count of Iraqi casualties, but it does have a link to the Lancet article about the actual figure being more than 100,000.00

It is so awful to envision even for one second the actual harm done by these people to the World.

7. Iraq war dead boots display
I saw the boots display in Fresno, CA when there was 1,286 dead.

It was sombering and unreal to see just how many U.S. soldiers were represented.

There's towns in the U.S. with a population of 1,700 which would be completely wiped out.

seemed impersonal, but less so than just a number.
The boots display is effective.

I think we all ought to print out that image, and mail the thousands we print to the White House. Nothing but that image. No letters, nothing. "A picture is worth a thousand words!"

12. The war on terror is open ended. There will be plenty more
before the real reasons for all of this bs is truly understood by enough people so that it may be put to an end.

"The incisive and sharply focused snapshots presented here give a telling portrait of some of the most dangerous forces undermining what is decent and hopeful in American and global society. A warning that should be taken very seriously."
--Noam Chomsky

How are corporations tightening their grip on the global political economy? How does this affect you? Read Mokhiber and Weissman's Corporate Predators and find out:
Microsoft Chairman and CEO Bill Gates' net wealth -- $51 billion -- is greater than the combined net worth of the poorest 40 percent of Americans (106 million people).
Hundreds of hospitals are "dumping" patients who can't afford to pay.
The feds are criminally prosecuting big tobacco companies for smuggling cigarettes into Canada. (Never mind addicting young kids to smoke and thus condemning them to a certain, albeit, slow, death -- can't criminally prosecute them for that.)
Prescription drugs may cause 100,000 deaths a year.

13. this looks like...
... one of the WTC towers, I'm sad to say.

Very soon, Bush will have squandered as many American lives as people who died on 911.

(forgive me for not counting the many tens of thousands of non-Americans already dead in Bush's Illegal War).
