One minute after the USA leaves Iraq an anti-American hard line
government will take over. What the fuck has Bush gained by this debacle.

3. And the Fucking Oil, Never forget the Fucking Oil
Never forget that if Iraq was in a part of the world as oilless as Nova Scotia we wouldn't be there no matter what the political record of the local tyrant.

2. he "got Saddam...."
Bush is a one trick pony who can't even get that one right. The only foreign policy objective that ever meant anything to him was "getting Saddam." He was obsessed with Saddam Hussein from the first day in office. He will go to his grave smiling and congratulating himself for achieving that goal. He's an utter nutcase-- it still shocks me that he's in the White House rather than on the potentially violent ward of a state mental institution. Oh, that's right-- Reagan closed all of those....

5. Bush and most of his administration failed to understand who and...
what they were really dealing with. The Chimpster was so HELL BENT on revenge and retaliation against Saddam for the alleged attempted assassination of #41 that he failed to really understand what he was doing and where it would eventually lead. I really do not think he has the mental capacity to look and plan ahead.
