But recognize that when you do, you fall into the rethugs fly trap and you promote their spin. It's up to you to decide whether exercising your right to publically criticize the only dem with a back bone serves their (rethugs) or our (dem) purpose.

I personally like a dem leader with backbone. Tact and diplomacy have been used for far too long, understanding and politeness have back fired on us and not only has the party been harmed, but OUR NATION is in danger. Some of the ones you mentioned, not all, are not good Dems because they consistently vote lockstep with the Repugs on issues that are bad for the country and bad for the party. Those are some of the same ones that just happened to criticize Dean. Some simply undermine the party efforts and some just need to grow a set of balls.
I don't believe that any Dem should call out another Dem publicly--there are phones, faxes, emails, offices, and planes available to have a private conversation.
