China has decided we are dangerous. We have WMDs. They have decided to
attack. They've joined up with a few other, smaller countries and are insisting we disarm immediately.

We refuse. China calls bush an enemy of communism. China cites the many US abuses of human rights that have been going on since bush took office (and no, the irony is lost on no one).

The date comes and goes for us to comply. bush refuses. Despite our high-tech military (which is a TAD overstretched), China does manage to attack and invade the US. It's a frigging mess, too. It takes a while, but they manage to un-seat bush and dismantle Congress. The courts are a mess, too. As much as some Democrats and other progressives hate bush, they also don't like China taking over.

Many children, teenagers and adults--innocents--are killed in the fighting. Chinese bombs and bullets. People are caught in the cross fire. Homes are destroyed, businesses are wiped out. DC and several other American cities are turned into rubble.

The Chinese insist we should be grateful--they removed a dangerous man from power. And while he IS a dangerous man, we are not grateful, because we have lost family members, we have lost our homes, we have lost our livelihood, electricity and water service are spotty if existent, our children's schools have been bombed, walking the streets isn't even safe anymore.

Back in China, they are crowing about how awesome they are, how wonderful they were to the poor, oppressed American people. But the "poor, oppressed" American people are taking up arms, underground, against the Chinese troops which are now occupying us. We are fighting back, and being called "insurgents" and "terrorists." But what else are we to do? Allow more of our family members to be killed? Continue to watch our children die slowly of malnutrition?

Then China announces it is building one hundred military bases in the US. It angers us. They insist we should be happy they are "protecting us" and "spreading Communism" but to us it feels like "HA! WE OWN YOU!" and to prove it they are planting their military here on a permanent basis.

We hope that the head of the Chinese government is overthrown by his own people, and miraculously, they get the chance to, but do not do it. Any chance for sanity in the world is gone. We wonder what has happened to the rest of the world, where are they???

Not only that, but people who never cared for the US are streaming over our borders in record numbers, causing more trouble we don't need and confusing things further. A power and security vacuum was created when the Chinese took over and now dangerous weapons are in the hands of who knows who.

There is word of a makeshift prison the Chinese troops have started in North Dakota to hold suspicious people. Americans are booked there for looking American. We hear they are being tortured, sodomized with chemical lightsticks, attacked by dogs, electrodes attached to their genitals, smeared in their own feces, even KILLED. There is a slight outcry, but the Chinese government, with the help of the Chinese press, does a great job silencing those crying out against it. It's nothing, they say. Hijinks. They attack those who speak out.

But we're supposed to be grateful. We're supposed to love the Chinese troops who killed our children, our spouses, our brothers and sisters. We're supposed to embrace them and their way of running a country.

Now THAT'S hilarious. I do encourage my gay and lesbian brothers and sisters to purchase a small firearm or two and get some good training on them, if they don't have them already.

Yeah, only two. One for each adult in this household.

6. LOL, I don't know why I chose North Dakota in particular.
I was just thinking "north" and "mostly rural" and came up with that. Arbitrary, no offense to North Dakota! :hi:

9. Way not funny topic. Back to the movie I was watching.
Hotel Rwanda. Yesterday I killed slugs, then watched F911. In one of those moods.

I like your OP though. Should print it to take to work.

26. I'm better today, things are looking up
Depressive, people are shit movies watched, slugs killed. Car broke, car tower broke car further, satellite remote broke, stereo reciever broke. Car getting fixed, argued with car towers and didn't let them get by with calling me a liar, fixed remote, thank god for boom boxes. It is sunny, 2 new varigated plant to plant and 1 varigated dogwood tree (help balance the omnipresent forest green green green green gree). Cup of coffee. All is better.

Sometimes I just need to get really pissed at the current and past administration bs and watching these movies did it. I am concerned because last time I watched depressive movie it was "day after tomorrow" (?) and I watched the tsunami scene a few times and the next day it happened in SE Asia ocean. ooooooo

14. Doesn't it?
I've been putting myself in the place of Iraqis since before it started. I used to put my daughter to bed in early 2003 and wonder what it must be like to be a mother in Baghdad wondering "will tonight be the night? Tomorrow night?" That must have been pure hell.

17. It's sort of a flawed analogy...
...where as Iraq didn't have WMDs in the first place, the US does, and if the Chinese army landed on DC would not hesitate to use them.

But I do get the point you are making.

19. Right.
The irony of the fact that we DO have WMDs and everyone knows it.

Here's another irony: when we had all our guns and weapons aimed at Iraq during the buildup and when the US was declaring its intention to attack Iraq, THAT is when IRAQ would have been fully justified in a pre-emptive attack on US. It's the only time a pre-emptive attack is justified.

Ironic, eh? But they didn't. And they didn't have any WMDs to even use on us.

27. It's all about perspective
One day, and soon, us humans are going to have to put aside our differences and work together or else we're all going to end up fighting for scraps as the world goes to shit. Thanks George Bush for bringing us that much closer to destroying the world. Things don't have to be this way. I look back at the 60's and the presidency of John F. Kennedy and just go - what if? :(

We need to get busy taking out Canada, Sweden and all those other Socialist countries before the American people start wanting what they have. They can't be right if'n they ain't just like us.
