made another comment." "Stay tuned to find out what he said." THAT was was the teaser!!!!! :grr::nuke: I have had it with these people! The news is on in an hour. I'll let you know what they say...unless it's posted before my news comes on.

Has anyone heard anything new???? I am so pissed off right now! I HATE THE MEDIA!

19. I'm reminded by the quote
from Harry Truman: "I don't give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell!" It's something like anyways.

9. Oh, yeah!
Asked by a reporter Sunday to reply to Cheney's criticisms, Dean said: "My view is that Fox News is a propaganda outlet of the Republican Party and that I don't comment on Fox News." The response drew applause from the room.

21. Dumbasses at CBS should be hyping Howard's hammering of FAUX News
Roger "Nail" Ailes, meet the hammer...

Looks like at least one CBS affiliate has been invaded by Ailes pods -- is it that bad in Orlando, Gator?

30. I think that the spin machine is really surprised at our reaction to Dean
They have been trying like crazy to turn Dean into a lunatic, but it is not going to work. If we had our way, he would be speaking alot more and alot worse.

watch, that could be GOOD. We want attention, and when Dean is allowed to speak, his message is very good. Let us know how it plays out.

12. Let's see, there's a FUCKING WAR going on,
we are TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, our economy is sucking ass through a crazy straw, MILLIONS of people don't even have health insurance, our schools aren't funded, our veterans are losing benefits under bush, and our environment is being raped by his administration, bush's and repukes in Congress approval numbers are tanking hard, there is proof they pursued this fucked up war DESPITE the facts, not because of them, BUT BUT BUT!!!! DEAN SAID SOMETHING!

Don't get me wrong--I think he deserves plenty of media attention, but seeing as ALL OF IT IS BAD, I somehow just don't see this as fair. Add to that the very REAL problems we are facing as a nation as a result of the motherfuckers currently squatting in that fine free public house of ours, and I'd say this is....BULLSHIT.

13. Tell us how you really feel Bouncy Ball.
Everything Dean has said, shocking as it may be, is the truth. The man has intestinal fortitude, and that is sorely needed (I just watched mealy-mouthed Gebhart on CNN last night). More power to you Howard. And to my republican friends I say: "You dont like Dean's statements/-well just GET OVER IT!" Poetic justice.

15. Remember the "God, guns, and gays" comment from 2003?
It was pounced on by both pukes and dems as "going too far Howard.". But now we realize what a brilliant concept that was: He wanted to draw attention to the fact that the entire south believes God is a republican. Al Gore would have been president if he had just carried his own state of Tennessee (The mountain folk all believed Al & Tipper were going to take away their rifles). And the southern Baptists (a big BIG portion of southerners) convinced the south that a president Kerry was going to allow gays to kiss and fornicate in the streets of America. He forsaw that the Democratic Party needed to address these issues. But all he got was flack. The only TV personality I saw embracing Howard on this was Paul Begala on Crossfire.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x1543516

Their lead-up to the story in the newscast was much more tame than their teaser an hour before. All she said was "Howard Dean speaks out again." or something like that and they had NO snide commentary after the report...go figure.

I LOVED what he said...it's the TRUTH! If the repukes can't handle the truth, tough shit!

But the good news is that the DNC has reserved regular meetings--outside of D.C.--to deal with the media.

25. Wait and see. Dean is going for the facts and truth and that
upsets a lot of applecarts on both sides of the aisle. Neither side in power likes him because he tells it like it is and forces them both to act. They don't like to be forced to act so they both want to get rid of him.

There are too many powerful Dems trashing him in subtle and not so subtle ways.

as long as his actual words aren't distorted, any exposure is good. Nice to have an inspiring Dem leader who can create some controversy for a change.
