3. Of course they will, and spin it as another example of the mean nasty
democrats unfairly slandering thier journalistic ethics and moral fortitude. Maybe they'll even have Anne Coulter on Hannity to smear dean (vile creature that she is).

5. I don't think so
That one hits a little too close to home, and confirms what a lot of people (who didn't already know) have been suspecting

6. I don't think they will either
rightwingers are, at their core, utter cowards. The main thing Fox news doesn't want to deal with is its identity. Because the fact is that Ailes is running a propoganda arm for the GOP.

And that's exactly what Howard just said.

10. I'm waiting for Dean to put his foot up Clear Channel's ass,
throw a rump-thumpin on NPR and then point out that Colon Bowel's son is the head of the FCC.

Just how much rope has Dean been given? It's getting to be lots of fun to watch.

11. whats wrong with NPR?
Just curious b/c my mom always listens to it and I know that she would never listen to a station like Fox that was an extension of the right wing. I would really like to know b/c I always thought NPR was more liberal...

18. Yeah.....that's what I mean.
And when they run their periodic beg-a-thons I make a point of calling and telling them why they can no longer count on me.

You know, you're pretty good at this. Welcome to DU.

15. I listen to it too. It's just not what I grew up with.
It's been drifting to the right for the last 5-6 years. It used to be weapon, a force for change, a totally open forum where anything might be said and news was just that.......news. NPR has been muzzeled by it's funding. It's pablum, babies can chew it...you don't need teeth.

I'm old stevans...sorry.

13. The Faux "reporters" have lost credibility as true journalists
Such as Snow and Hulme. They've joined the likes of Rush, Savage, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc. They pimped themselves and are now thought of right talk entertainers, not journalists.

16. I doubt, but I sure hope they do
I want to see Fox and the GOP pounce all over Dean for this statement. I think that is what Dean wants too. After all that gets people talking about the rightwing tilt of Fox News.
