Please take a look at the post where I discuss "facts" -- Clinton versus Bush on the economy, war/peace, etc. By any reasonable measure, Bush is a complete and utter failure as a leader, yet, the thing that gets attention is Clinton's sex life instead of Bush's crimes. The "meme" from the right (as sprouted by my beloved Father-in-Law): "They are ALL crooks." The translation for that is "there is no difference between Clinton and Bush -- which is a LIE.

In this case, I am taking a perceived weakness -- Clinton's sex life -- and invoking a centuries old understanding about what makes a good leader -- his manliness. Bush, having created a weaker country, is not a good leader, and his "manliness" must obviously be to blame.

There are a thousand and one ways to win a battle of ideas; we need to use ALL OF THEM because everyone responds to different stimuli, and we need those brain cells TO FUNCTION. This is simply one way of saying the same thing: Clinton was a better President, and I'd rather hear the stories of his blow jobs ANY DAY over the tales of death, destruction, and misery that come out of this administration.

Its supposed to be shocking, so it gets your attention, and its supposed to be funny, so you remember it, and its supposed to be a little sad, because its true.
