We need a new name for the British informant
I don't like "Deep Throat II" (especially since it may be a woman).
Any suggestions?

I'd almost like a page out of their own playbook.

How about "Mockingbird"?

5. Is anyone familiar with 70's British porn?
I agree the Watergate terminology should be diminished, simply because the seriousness of the recent scandals dwarf everything that happened in Watergate. A new watermark has been set.

10. I support 'Nightingale', it just seems to fit
and evokes the picture of someone who does right because it is right regardless of the dangers ie Florence Nightingale.

Officially there is no such person....but when secrets of great value and importance are in danger, the shadowy figure of the mystery man appears. Out of the darkness he strikes at the evil doers, and then vanishes, almost before they realise that their deep-laid plans are wrecked for good!!"

Comments: Thanks to Stephen Montgomery for providing me with information and pictures of this character.

CLARIFICATIONS: Not to be confused with

Black Shadow, Wild Cards hero

Black Shadow, Filipino hero

any other characters who are either Black something or something Shadows
