In light of the facts, shouldn't we be calling it the Iraq INVASION.... |
|
...rather than the Iraq war? Doesn't that one word change drive home the point that the Bush administration's push into Iraq was unjustified and illegal?

7. I know some having been saying it this way... |
|
...I guess I'm just calling for a widespread movement among our blogosphere to call it what it was, an invasion, not a war. If we do so, maybe this characterization will gradually filter into more general use, even in some circles of the media.

I've always called it "the war ON Iraq" rather than "the war in Iraq" or the Iraq War.

Since there was no legitimate reason to go in and wholesale murder all those Iraqis other than to secure the oil real estate, it appears to be a colonial grab.

9. By all means. I have been using it alrady here and there. I |
|
think it's time to call it an invasion at all times now. Also, it should be called a dirty war. IMHO

13. Yes...it is Iraq Invasion, not Iraq War.....and |
|
9-11 was not an act of war, it was an act of crime... and should have been settled in the courts just as the first bomb attempt on WTC.....
(if indeed we didn't do 9-11 ourselves).
