Any other AAR listeners having Robert Redford's voice dissapear? |
|
1310 AM Detroit (Dearborn SW suburb broadcast) Redford's voice drops for 1, 5, 20 seconds at a time. Only his.
I have three radios on, so it must be the station -- or the main feed?

9. Have you been extremely attentive? |
|
I've noticed Al being clipped for a second, and a commercial for a second. Redford lost a few seconds after you posted.
I wonder how they send the main feed to the other stations. Probably via satellite. Redford was rather monotoned, thought the computer might have dial toned him to zeroes.
Just curious. There have been numerous AAR problems around here, and they often seem curiously timed. It was fine from 12 noon until past 2pm .. then Redford...
ASIDE: 255 it's happening again: Remember ----- we learned that as a young man Er-----d as a young man ...

6. This is corruption and censorship, make no mistake people! |
|
In the Los Angeles air waves, KTLK, 1150 kc NO problems during the commercials or innocuous banter between Mr. Redford & Frankin. THEN when watergate-defendants come into Redford's discussion, BAM out goes the signal...DEAD AIR time! You won't get this CENSORSHIP from the Pacifica stations.

7. Yes. It started when he was asking what was really behind Watergate |
|
Hint: The CIA wanted Nixon out; today, the CIA has been purged and whistleblowers like Robert F. Bennett of the Mullen & Co. CIA-front firm are in the Senate or House.

11. So we have two hours of trouble free listening, then Redford comes on |
|
talking about Watergate...and we have white-outs or blalck-outs.
Did anyone hear what he said?

And for loving your country enough to listen to all this stuff.
The streamers heard it all.
Is is a conspiracy? I dunno. It certainly is not beneath the CONs as I have seen. Can you say breaking and entering?
Not just the lost information. It may have been stuff we already knew. The real problem for liberals is that we doubt ourselves if we feel that we don't have ALL the information.
Very effective, low cost method. CONs would love it.

13. Wow. I thought it was my Sirius losing sat signal. |
|
I was saying things like "This piece of shite!"...but I saw no alert "acquiring satellite signal" like it always does.
So it lost it on Sirius too. Must've been the feed from AAR.

14. I lose my Sirius signal for HOURS at a time at home, but in the car |
|
never lose it
I've been thinking about giving up the home subscription because of it.
it's gotten to the point that I'm surprised when it comes in
I was switching back and forth between AM radio and satellite, and it was dropping out with both.
really made me mad, but it was going out for me for everything-not just Redford

17. yeah....I dont have access to that....condo. |
|
mine is on window ledge, and not a good shot at the Dakotas, where I'm sposed to aim my little dish
really really annoying
I'm reduced to occasional listening, and streaming online if I really want to hear something
to add to the irritation, our local AM station goes OFF the AIR at dusk, and doesn't carry Sam and Janeane at all (fat, screaming Ed instead of Randi, then Randi reruns til dark!)
it also has a very directional signal, leaving more than half the Chicago area out of listening range
a really terrible business decision, IMO.
they don't have the money to buy a real station, like AM 560, which has a great signal, and just went totally right wing

16. Happened on the Dallas station too, so I switched to RealPlayer streaming |
|
and it was OK.
It must have been a problem with the feed. I really don't think we have a conspiracy here.

18. same problem in West Palm Beach area |
|
AM 940. Also I keep losing the sound on my streaming since last week. You have a connection and their is a very thin whiny sound on the speakers. Someone said the sound was streaming in treble. I don't know what this means. Others have said they are having the same problem. This is happening on my computer at work and at home.
Should AAR be notified? I seem to be getting more commercials tonight than the actual show.
