1. Wow, a poll by someone who knows the law and isn't basing |
|
their rant on emotion and preconceived notions.
Well done.

6. How about to be found not guilty |
|
because, until someone can prove beyond a reasonable doubt otherwise, you're not guilty?
Doesn't matter how sleazy the accuser (or his family) is, how vindictive the prosecutor (who should have recused himself) is, or how weird the defendant is.
Innocent until proven Guilty.

It was also brought out that there has been no accusations against Jackson more recent than 10 years ago.
That sure doesn't sound like the M.O. of an accused serial pedophile, does it?

9. Well of course I'd want to be found GUILTY, |
|
sentenced to death on the flimsiest of evidence, and never heard from again. Oh, and I'd want the most incompetent "defense" lawyers out there, you know, ambulance chasers who never got people like me off on those damn technicalities (like say, freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures- damn technicality that is).
For that matter- why should I even get a trial? I was accused wasn't I? Just go straight to the hanging. :)

11. Oh, come 'on. Throw me in the bunker, like a real patriot act. |
|
I mean surely the safety of kids means we should err on the side of putting suspected molesters behind bars indefinitely rather than proving the allegation in a rational way first?

Why can't we just have a system where we can throw people in jail on a baseless accusation? That'd be soooo cool, if we were the rulers, wouldn't it? -- just toss any of our critics into jail with no burden of proof.
No fun at all I say. :P
