Im waiting for celebrities to just start opening fire on people |
|
There seems to be no way to convict anyone rich or famous or both. Be it eyewitnesses or having Robert Blake's "worst alibi ever" or not even Jayson Williams admitting he killed a guy but was drunk so it doesn't count.
This just in: The Baldwin brothers have robbed a Beverly Hills bank in broad daylight. Despite the security cameras providing incontrovertible evidence, they were acquitted because so much of the jury was "just happy see Billy Baldwin on screen again".
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ended their crime spree with a public apology and a promise to enter rehab. "We got coked up and just started shooting at toll booth workers, totally my bad." No charges are expected to be filed until they finish the publicity tour for "Mr and Mrs Smith".
In other news, in a desperate comeback attempt, Emilio Estavez shot and killed several kids in hockey gear in what he said was a "Mighty Ducks flashback, god I hated doing those movies."

3. Its not celebrities, its the rich. |

With rare exception, those who are rich enough to have the best defense don't get convicted. Look at Enron's CEO. You are misplacing your cynicism because celebrities are in the news more than white collar criminals.

How would the trial go of a celbrity killing another celebrity? Would it matter who was the bigger star? Like if Tom Cruise killed Greg Kinnear would he get off but not the other way around?
What if someone like Parker Posey were involved? She is well reviewed but not famous.
Geez, law is hard.

6. I would much prefer it if Greg Kinnear killed Tom Cruise. |
|
And if Parker Posey wanted to off a celebrity or two, (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, for starters), I'd be happy to acquit her.

10. Parker Posey-I always think of that really screwed up movie she made |
|
"The House Of Yes". It's hard for me to divorce the actress from that role.
