The date is firm: Thursday the 16th. The location of the hearing is up in the air; Sensenbrenner has forbidden the use of hearing rooms for anything other than the clubbing of baby seals and the spreading of Republican dogma, so we are not yet sure exactly where/when it will be held.

The rally is firm: 5:00pm in Layfayette Park. I have a tentative list of speakers in hand, but have to wait for some confirmations.

On Thursday at 5:00 p.m. ET in Lafayette Square Park, in front of the White House, a large rally will support Congressman Conyers who plans to deliver to the White House a letter addressed to President Bush and signed by over 500,000 Americans and at least 94 Congress Members. The letter asks the President to respond to questions raised by the Downing Street Minutes.
