Poll question: New Tucker Carlson show... Good or bad? |
|
Edited on Mon Jun-13-05 09:45 PM by merwin
So, I just caught the first 3 minutes of the new Tucker Carlson show, and I think it might be interesting... I mean, as long as he doesn't pull a Hannity and Colmes and shove Rachel Maddow into the background, it might actually be an interesting show :-)

...it wasn't bad. I've always been a Tucker Carlson fan. I don't know why. I know he's a dick but he is kind of cool for a conservative.

10. Talk about a push poll. Asked ia person if they liked the show |
|
and then the selections are 1 - Yeah, I watched it, 2 - Hell, no, boycotting, 3 - I don't care, and 4 - who?.
So the choices are I watched ergo I liked it, or I didn't watch it so I can't decide if it is good or not, don't care so I don't know if it is good or not, and who.
My answer - I watched it - all of it - and thought it was terrible. Really, really bad. New dimension of awful. I've seen newsmen on TV and F*cker is no newsman.

16. No, a push poll would be the following: |
|
1 - Yeah, I watched it, even though he has an black bastard baby 2 - Hell no, boycotting, because he is reported to sleep with men 3 - I don't care (because who would care about a pill popping maniac) 4 - Who? Yeah, he's slept on the street most nights, so why would you know him.

11. It seemed that way to me. I also caught him on Hardball. He seems |
|
to be one of the more normal conservatives.
I'm in the mindset that not all conservatives are evil. My dad is a conservative, and I respect him greatly because he's what conservatives used to be like.

Watched it and liked it. For some reason, I've never minded him... At least he's against the war, among other things.

From wikipedia: Carlson also has said that he is not "particularly anti-drug," and that, while he reluctantly supported the Iraq War at the outset, he reversed his position after traveling to Baghdad to report for Esquire. Upon his return, he expressed his disgust with the war and his shame with himself for supporting it earlier.

6. I did like it only because he wasn't as loud and overbearing as the rest: |
|
I dunno, I kinda of liked it because he wasn't as nasty as some of the other right wing talk show hosts - even Severin wasn't as vile as his radio show .
As long as they let Rachel speak her mind, I'll be happy.
I couldn't help but notice Tucker trying to emulate Keith a little bit though.

13. The whole premise of the show seems to emulate Keith. It's kind of |

amusing. He's the conserva-keith.

7. The question should be: |
|
Tucker Carlson is a panty-waist right-wing dick-stick, so...
1) Do you think he's an asshole?
2) Is he a dickhead?
3) How much is KKKarl Rove (ie: te taxpayers) paying you for this charade?
4) Do you give the raw side of an armadilla dick?

I flipped the channel just as lovely Keith went off.
I will not watch another right-wingers. There are too many of them on television.

conservatives put together (or more), so that tips the balance :-)

20. I dont think she's the type of person to comprimse herself for any reason, |
|
and I think that might be why they hired her. MSNBC is the closest thing to a fair news network that we've got :)

She and Severin are part of the nightly panel, at least at first... I don't know how it works as concerns their radio shows!

I find him tolerable most of the time. And with RM on the show, I think we can get some balance of opinion.
