O'Reilly calls Franken "emotionally disturbed"
Billy ran a clip of Franken speaking for Dean, calling Brit Hume "fucking shameless" and then saying "and I'm not saying that just because Fox sued me." Then O'Reilly went into a little diatribe about "that display" in which, without ever mentioning Franken's name, he called him "emotionally disturbed." Personally I thought the clip was hilarious.

1. Just saw this (and raced here)
He didn't have to mention Franken's name. He showed his picture, and called him emotionally disturbed.

Libel. And he doesn't get satire as a defense.

2. What did Brit Hume do?
Franken's a badass, and now I have greater respect for Dean for allowing Franken to expose O'Reilly at his campaign's expense.

God bless both Franken and Dean for that.

Now O'Reilly is bashing France. Does he ever stop?

3. Now, if O'Reilly were perfectly emotionally healthy...
...he wouldn't let this get to him. He'd have a sense of humor.

6. O'Reilly was on Imas today
and he couldn't stop talking about Franken. Imas tried to change the subject, but O'Reilly was back talking about Franken in a matter of seconds.

I think O'Reilly is going off the deepend over his Franken confrontation.

11. The right has no fact-based critique of Franken.
So all they can do is scream epithets.

I am just laughing out loud at parts of it and it's because someone
(Al) has finally put all of MY thoughts into writing.

9. Those without a sense of humor just don't understand comedians.
And if the comedians disagree with them politically, they don't even claim to understand them or their humor.

individually, and then tell us who is nuts.

13. ps didn't his mommy ever tell him
that it is a dead giveaway that you're in the wrong, when you attack the opponent rather than point out errors (backed up with data) in the opponent's assertions?

18. Ha ha! That's a good one...

Someone with O'Reilly's temper should be very cautious in bandying the "emotionally disturbed" label about.

19. Al's probably snickering @ O'Silly b/c after all it gives Al free
advertizing for his book. At least that was Al's attitude about the Faux lawsuit when he was on Letterman. Al just laughed about it and thanked them for the added exposure of his book.
