I'm filming the Conyers events, any questions you want answered?
Any suggestions from the fine folks here at the DU as to what you want to see and hear while I film the Hearing and Rally?

Any particular questions you would ask any of the folks involved, say Conyers or Congressmen (and women) at this event?

I'm all ears, and eyes :)

1. Yay symbolman! You're gonna make it? Really?
As far as I'm concerned, the fact that you're going to be there filming it all is enough for me. I don't care if you just set up the camera and let it run.

2. Yeah baby!
I'm gonna stick it in some faces :)

Once while we were filming Kerry at a school gym we stayed as long as he did, my wife had the camera so close to his face that he was pretty freaked out, it's funny footage.. "Uh, who are you and why do you have that camera in my face..?"

I started talking to a nice lady standing behind him, laughing and joking with her and after 10 minutes I realised it was HIS WIFE - I'd never seen her and thought she was just plain folks, tho highly intelligent and a lot of fun..

She actually invited us to go to the Carol King concert with them, but we were all sick with the flu so I asked for a raincheck, she's a real sweetheart.. I have footage of that but it's not very good..

they have a cool bodyguard too, called "Marvelous Marvin".. he liked us too..

SO YES.. I will be there will bells on!

3. Way cool, symbolman!
I have no particular question, I'm confident Rep. Conyers will do his usual thorough job. But I'd really like to see and hear the reactions when he and the other Congress members take his petition to the WH. This will entail a walk along the streets, yes? I hope there's a crowd! I'd be there myself if I could.

Huge thanks, looking forward to seeing all you capture!

4. Ask Richard Dearlove about these quotes....
When Richard Dearlove was copying from the minutes, in the paraphrase "intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy", did he mean someone was sexing up the reports?

Did he mean someone had deliberately planted uranium tubes?

Did he mean the evidence was being "laid out" and manufactured? That's how I want this inquiry.

15. now THAT is
a DAMN good question..

When I read this to my wife she started wiggling like a puppy saying, "Yes, yes! ABSOLUTELY.."

I'm still doing my home work, is Dearlove supposed to be there, or am I to ask Conyers that? (Or any other Congressman/woman for that matter..)

Might be good to ask several folks and see what kind of answers I get.. if you ask enough people, the truth seems to fold out just like a flower and things snap into place..

Very good.. I was hoping for insights like this..thanks

17. Correct...That's why this is called...
"Resolution of Inquiry".

Last I heard Conyers has been trying to get a hold of Jack Straw. Make sure they have it prepared for Dearlove to testify, or at least ask and question him, via telephone. I think that is exactly what the american people want to get to.

18. I'll be aiming the camera
at the furniture, the Chopper will be the fakeout, Bush will be in his usual fetal position, under something and flooding his Depends :)

I seriouly doubt I'll get very near the White House, last time I was there they had a good sense of humor, but no nonsense.. when you are carrying a tripod bag it looks an awful lot like a bazooka to them..

I did joke around loudly to the crowd in front of the white house guard asking them all to throw 20 bucks in the hat so we could all chip in and sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom that night :)

The guards actually laughed..

BUT, at another building, where we interviewed Congressman Wexler the guards came out of the building and told us to REMOVE the tripod..

they are NOT allowed near govt buildings for obvious reasons..

I'm figuring that some of the Rally filming may be handheld for that reason, I'll see how hard ass the fuzz are when I show up..

10. What an image your screen name brings to mind
a Jim Beam oozing sponge that tries to escape her body every day and twice on Sunday :) (just funnin' you, I love that screen name, it's hilarious!)

Hey, I really appreciate your sending folks to my work, Can you believe I did all those suckers for FREE, what an idiot I am - but at least I'm committed, eh? or should be committed..

I think we have over 50 political animations at our site now, there are many done by American Stranger as he's known here.. a lot of work..

My personal fave has always been "Bush is not a Nazi, so Stop Saying That.." which shows pictures of Bush and Hitler doing the exact same things (even hanging out with their dogs) to the music of Spike Jones singing, "When the Fuehrer Says.." while it's actually an expose of Prescott Bush who got sanctioned by Congress for War Profiteering, even had his bank taken away..

Not like they'd do anything like that to Halliburton.. What ever happened to that Law, did it go away?

I've got a brand new one that I made that I'll have up on the site, I think my wife is going to load it up while I'm gone to DC..

Called "The FakeTrix" and created to trash Bush's Social Security Scam.. set in the distant future where the 4th clone of Bush still reigns, a little worse for the wear, but still around.. I think it's one of my best and I hope you'll like it too..

It's people like you that give me even more inspiration.. as a musician I can tell you that when people go wild in the Audience, even ONE PERSON, they can affect the performance of the whole band.. it gets noticed and makes the musicians work harder :)

thanks, you made my day.. I'm gonna miss my wifey and my lil 5 month old boy a lot so this helps more than you know!

39. i choose my screen name at Halloween time...
I saw on this costume web site one costume called Jenna Bush's liver-this little girl was dressed in a Hefty bag with all these big, ugly spots all over it-it was disgusting and beautiful at the same time.
Anyway, I'm glad I could make your day-I can't say how much I love your movies-they're just so MOVING. I was pretty new to politics and it was probably the first progressive web site i had ever seen. Randi Rhodes was talking about '911:An American Requiem" and it just blew me away-it's no suprise you're a musician-the music always rocks. I will continue to try to get people to watch-I posted before Memorial Day to ask people to watch the "Army' ones in honor of our vets-i gues you didn't see that post. Good Luck in DC
and thanks again for all your work-i can't believe you did them for free-you should be making "Michael Moore" bucks!!!

I'll bet you know what I'm saying if you're in the biz..

27. Shit into gold, eh?
That's one of the reasons we got a HiDef camera, at some point when there is a DVD type conveyance for it (maybe BluRay?) then we should have a whole lot of GOLD in HiDef footage of everything we can shoot..

I shot a sunset the other day here in the Islands.. a Big red sun sinking into the ocean, and the second time we watched it all of a sudden we noticed that WHALES (Humpbacks) were JUMPING around and Tail Smacking the water near the sun..

it was beautiful and mind blowing (we counted 24 breaches and tail slaps) and it would have never shown up on regular DVD..

If you haven't seen HiDef, it's like you've been blind your whole life and were suddenly given sight, amazing really..

So I should be able to capture some good stuff in DC, we'll see what I have to work with when I get back, dead but happy to be back with my 5 month old son on Father's day :)

She essentially called 'em chickensh*ts who needed to show some spine anddo their dang jobs.

as of this moment.. so how can they keep me out if they keep you from not knowing until the last minute? I'm a citizen with a camera, and I pay their damn salaries with my taxes..

it's MY ROOM.

Also I'm calling on as many folks as I know that have the Congressfolks ears.. have a pal of my wife that's a lobbyist and he'll know who to talk to, etc..

I'm assuming it's a public event, all I have to do is come early so I don't disturb anyone - and I've covered Congressional hearings before so I know the drill..

There's Never any guarantees in life, but I won't let that stop me :)

29. I sure am hoping for a
seed of a NiXXON moment there.. it truly is historical, isn't it?

Especially considering that President Clinton was impeached for a simple dodge of embarrassement that was between him and his wife, while Drunky the Chimp has LIED and LIED and LIED..

And to CONGRESS. Remember, he was basically performing an official function when reporting to Congress in the State of the Union.

It's my opinion that he was Lying UNDER OATH when he made up those cooked figures, only to blame it on the CIA later.

As I recall Cheney was noted as spending more time in the CIA building than ANY President or Vice Prez in History.. it's called "Micromanagment" and he was managing to FAKE a war situation.

Wonder why Conyers doesn't mention Cheney as well? Would that be a seperate inquiry?

thanks, it will be a lot of hard work, but I think it's very important, or I wouldn't be flying one sixth of the way around the planet to cover it :)

32. Ask about the PNAC letter to Clinton.
It seems as though the neocon Iraq war plan preceded the election, not just the U.N. hearings.

Why did Powell and Rice both say that Iraq wasn't a threat in 2001 but was all of a sudden a grave threat in 2002-2003?

37. I'm concerned that the Republicans,
Edited on Tue Jun-14-05 02:13 PM by Senior citizen
finding themselves unable to shut down the hearing completely, might resort to terrorist tactics to prevent the public from learning about their previous terrorist tactics.

This would be a good opportunity for them to knock out a whole lot of Congressional Democratics with a single bomb and then blame it on terrorists.

Please wear whatever protective gear you can manage, alert security to any unattended packages or briefcases, stay away from anyone with a strangely bulging midriff, and try to be as aware of your surroundings as possible while filming.

Trillions of dollars in war profiteering are at stake here, and the people who pulled off 9/11 and the anthrax attacks, and who know themselves to be guilty of war crimes, aren't likely to permit Conyers to even suggest that they investigate themselves. Your family needs you and we need you too. Please be careful!

46. My questions
Why can't Conyers get the MSM to at least cover the DSM more often?

Are Republicans considering a draft to get more bodies for Iraq?

Is fundamentalism a cancer in Congress that needs to be removed next election?

How does Conyers know Bush will even respond to DSM or even tell the truth?

Are Republicans supporting DSM?

Are we headed for a theocratic government with ministers and CEOs as new rulers/gods?

Are Democrats concerned about outsourcing/offshoring?

And finally, what can people do to outwit the propaganda machine known as MSM?
