Last night I saw a lot of people putting out those little plastic US flags
You know, the 8x11 transparent ones whose colors fade after 3 days.

The ones with those cute trimmed and shaved wooden sticks...

The ones made in China.

This is what we're proud of; outsouring our own flag? Would be better off peeing on it. (don't burn plastic, it smells gross and burning is kinda harsh.)

If anythng, I'll get my exercise today by turning them upside down.

Speaking of which, many people last night used their cars to go from block corner to block corner. Not only is that ducking out of a good way to exercise, it's also wasting sheer quantities of gas.

1. Why were U.S. flags being displayed in mass like that?

4. I thought Flag Day was in May...
And what's the point of it, apart from a slimy excuse to sell foreign-made national icons and a lame attempt to get people to buy greeting cards?

3. Because it's 20 days until 'July 4', note how the term 'Independence Day'
is NEVRR EVER used anymore...

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody went around and videotaped himself asking people if they know what "July 4" means... or "Independence Day" for that matter; there are enough people who don't know where Utah is on the map, never mind where Iraq is... (with out without the text labels either)
