Has anyone read this? Opinion?

(My daughter likes reading things like "The World is Flat" and I'm looking for other books to send her as a surprise....... and I don't want to get anything of the wrong "bent", doncha know?)

I have a hold on it at my local library. There is a very long waiting list for it. From what I've read about it it seems very intriguing.
