New Evidence Suggests Noah's Sons Rode Flying Dinosaurs
God ... this is SOOOO funny

From our friends at the Landover Baptist Church ... breaking news

For years, Creation Scientists have disputed how Noah was able to quickly collect millions of indigenous animals from remote, inaccessible regions of the world for a 40-day ride in his ark. New evidence from an archeological find in China supports the long held Christian belief that Noah's sons rode giant flying dinosaurs to transport duck billed platypuses from Australia, and penguins and polar bears from the Antarctic, to name a few. "Those must have been some mighty big flying dinosaurs," says Pastor Deacon Fred. "Imagine the look on Noah's face when his sons flew in for a landing with a pair of Hippos strapped to the back of one of them things! Glory to God!"

You gotta read the rest of this

2. Every scientist knows...
... there were no "flying dinosaurs." The proper terminology is "flying lizard." XD

4. This isn't that far from actual Creationist doctrine.
Many of their leading "experts" literally make the claim that the dinosaurs either never got on the Ark, or did get on the Ark but were later hunted to extinction.

6. Wish I'd been alive way back then so I could have seen...
dinosaurs being tamed at the dinosaur rodeo. Them dinosaur steaks, sizzling on the grill must have been real tasty. Too bad there were so many humans around that they ate all the dinosaurs up, and then there weren't no more!!!

9. Everybody knows the Noah story is completely true.
It's real easy to gather up the millions of species of animals. Yep two of every kind. Even fish and snails which have some gender issues.
And best of all, what the hell did they eat for 40 days and 40 nights?

Why doesn't 40 ALWAYS win in lotto?

And to future Bible writers, here's a hint! Don't forget to include plants on that massive ship as some cannot tolerate floods. Also those pesky sulfur loving critters. And some whales just to take up some of that unused extra space.

And why did the locusts get a free pass?

Why were the unicorns forgotten and the cyclops? Eye bet you forgot about them, didn't you?

11. 'course, there's also the issue of how they returned the animals
Bringing two platypuses (platypi?) 8,000 miles to ride in your big boat is one thing, but then you've got to put them back in Australia when the flood's over. That just doubled your travel expenses right there.

12. I'm inclined to say Landover threads should be in the Lounge
Just because sometimes that site is so damn scary, and given the current views of creationists it wouldn't have suprised me if this were a real news story by a real religious group.

Thanks for posting it, though!

Its a good read.

13. I can't stop laughing......you guys are too much!
Even with all Noah's sons and daughters, 40 days and nights of rain would have been a lot of water to tread.

Anybody remember the skit from Bill Cosby about Noah and his neighbors? That was pretty funny too.
