Filming the Conyers events and offering DVD's for a donation

Here's a way you can help a lot of sites all at the same time.. I'll be filming the Conyers events, Hearing, Rally, interviews, etc and then I will be editing and shipping UNCENSORED DVD's from my site..

We will have a donation button there that will track DU'rs that donated for a DVD (we're asking $20 for them) and will ship on Monday at the earliest..

FOr each donation for this DVD we will be sending a portion of the proceeds BACK to DU so that they can get more money and keep this godsend of a site back up.

I don't expect to make any money from this, honestly most of it will cover the costs of me flying, staying in DC and getting home to edit furiously - it's a lot of work and in the end I usually end up doing things like this for the common good, just so you know..

So help out the DU and Takebackthemedia.com and spread the word that there will be a version available that's NOT been cut off by Sensenbrenner (even if CSPAN shows there is a possibility that they won't cover the things, people I can get to, etc) and we can TAKEBACKTHEMEDIA with independant films of this historic event..

This could be the NIXXON of our time, as Mark Twain said, "History doesn't repeat itself, but it RHYMES.." :)

Barely got him out the door in time; he was greeted with the standard 'SSSS' extended security check at the airport. He called to say that they do a complete pat-down now during those checks...

It's really good he went.

I talked to him about a half-hour ago; he was filming b-roll of Cheney's motorcade pulling up in front of the Capitol.

He's all set for the hearing tomorrow - got his press credentials and clearance.

Apparently the room is going to be TINY - he said just enough room for the people testifying, his camera, and not much else. The press folks even asked him how big his tripod was!

This is an issue we're going to have to keep beating the drum on to keep it in the news. This is too important to let it fade away.

Alternatively, you can go to http://web.takebackthemedia.com and on the right hand side of the page is the TBTM logo and a "Donate" link. You can try using that link - there is a button for Amazon Honors if PayPal isn't working. The mailing address for checks is there, too.

If you take this route and use either Amazon Honors or personal check, please email [e-mail] and send us your mailing address so we can ship the DVD to you. Amazon is anonymous, and checks take a while to get to us.
