8. Notice how he talks out of the side of his mouth like cheney.
Is that some sort of right wing affliction. Pataki does it too and several others.

3. I love the smell of desperation
They can attack the Clintons all they want; that doesn't change the fact that Bush is dropping like a stone in the polls. And Clark is far from the only Dem they should be afraid of.

4. Money talks--Morris listens
He's just a hired gun. Pay him and he'll say anything.

I'm embarrassed he was ever associated with the Democratic party.

15. Yes but Scaife pays better
So he has completely severed all ties with the Democrats.

Ever see him on Jon Stewart. He went out of his way to distance himself from clinton (except for taking credit for everything considered "good" by clinton. economy balanced budget etc.)
He said he was a registered independant (may have said that he was never a registered democrat or only briefly)

I say the more he want to dig a hole so be it. Let the right have all the blow hard loonies.

6. we'll see his CRAP pop up here ...
wait and see. Some folk here would align with old Adolph himself if they thought they could somehow smear Clark in the process.

10. The thread at the top of my screen
Since I've been sitting here a new Clark bashing thread has edged up to the top of the screen. Should I peek inside?

After last nights oil-cabal charges against a man serving as CoB for an alternative energy company, it could be anything.

13. I saw Dick on Fox a couple of weeks ago,
he said that about the only thing that might
bring back bush's poll numbers would be to
start attacking Iran........

Wouldn't put it past Rove to consider this!

17. I think the right-wing TV show is getting worn out.
No real data, just my conversations with a lot of people, and the rise of books by Franken and Conason.

19. Can't get a job this season
That's a bit of a ray of sunshine on the political scene. KInd of stupid
on his part. If Bush loses that means he will have a host of young GOP vipers to raise that much sooner.

You would think even if he is getting paid an honorarium for these little stabs he would decide it was better to keep his mouth shut. bad career move. Watch. If Bush starts losing, Morris will get critical to pimp for a job from his future candidates.

20. Toe Suckers Latest column
I actually bookmarked this cause I think it will be a fun read day after election day barring another 9-11 when either Clark or Dean beat Whistle-Ass.

http://www.nypost.com/postopinion/opedcolumnists/3151.htm

THE shocking truth about the U.S. presidential race is that the sudden and headlong collapse of President Bush's popularity has created such a vacuum that a new candidate such as retired Gen. Wesley Clark has no difficulty soaring to the top of the polls based on one week's publicity.
<snip>

Asked if Bush should be re-elected, Americans vote no by 50-44.

<snip>

Clark will not wear well. His early gaffes show his inexperience. He would be a bit like a latter-day Dwight D. Eisenhower, except that nobody can quite recall what war it is that he won. The initial enthusiasm for his candidacy really came from Europe, where this general-who-opposes-war is the kind of guy only the elites of Paris can truly love. The only primary he has locked up is Democrats abroad.

<snip>

The Dean candidacy is the first creation of the Internet age. By contrast, Clark's is perhaps the last of the media-created candidacies. Dean's support will carry him through the early primaries. He will likely score one-punch knockouts in Iowa of Gephardt, in New Hampshire of Kerry, and in South Carolina of Edwards. His three victims must win their respective primaries because they come from the state next door. Their failure to do so means the end of their candidacies.

Dean still can't beat Bush. But how far can Bush drop before we hear the splash at the bottom of the well?
