Anyone That Does Not Think People Are Dying For Oil Needs To See This!
Edited on Tue Jun-14-05 05:36 PM by DistressedAmerican
Lifted the original shot of OUR SOLDIERS guarding THEIR OIL from another DU thread a couple of weeks back. Can't remember who posted it but, thanks!

Anyone that argues we went there to liberate the Iraqi people is either deluded or woefully uninformed!

When the hell is this country going to take a freaking hint?

1. Wasn't that the first building secured in Baghdad?
And, subsequently, the most heavily guarded?

8. I'll Look For It! Being An Archaeologist By Trade That Really Pissed
me off. Lets not even start on the site destruction that has occurred during the past two wars! Saw a report recently and it was totally depressing. If it was not stolen, it was blown up!

5. Because This One Shot Contains More Truth About The War
than everything Bushco has been telling us for years combined! This one too!

Sad, that you do not find the image disturbing. Makes me wonder what you are missing!

6. Is oil more of a national interest than hospitals and schools?
Is it more of an interest than government buildings, than military bases that we supposedly believed contained potentially hazardous material, than borders that the enemies we were supposedly trying to defeat could escape through in order to rally terrorist allies in neighboring countries? It must be, because we secured the Ministry of Oil before we secured any of those things.

I'm not trying to attack you lonestarnot, but I think it's pretty clear that our interest in oil is about much more than its benefit to Iraq.
