What's the difference between Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson?
Edited on Tue Jun-14-05 05:46 PM by David Zephyr
What's the difference between Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson?

1. Both Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson are international media stars.

2. Both Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson have been accused of sexual predatory behavior in lawsuits.

3. Both Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson were accused of truly horrific and disgusting sexual actions.

3. Both Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson have settled out of court with their accusers for sexually inappropriate conduct.

4. Both Bill O'Reilly and Michael Jackson settled for millions of dollars with their accusers giving credence to their accusers.

Question: So what's the difference between the two?

Answer: Michael Jackson has the good grace not to hypocritically attack Bill O'Reilly for his lack of morals. Michael Jackson does not pretend to be a sexual moralist like America's great Pharisee, Bill O'Reilly, does.

4. Bill O'Reilly is a rich white man that will never have to face what...
Michael has had to go through for the past 2 years he will never face the level of lies and BS spewed by the racist one sided media no matter what he does just look at Pat O'Brien.

5. I'd think of two considerable differences..
1. Michael Jackson's cases involved children
2. Michael Jackson has changed his appearance dramatically to where he doesn't even look human at times.

As much as #2 has nothing to do with his charges, it makes his a lightning rod for critics because of the "weird" factor.

Number one is indefensible. O'Reilly is scum but the fact that Jacko thought it was okay to sleep with children after the first charges in 1993 means he has not learned his lesson and will likely see this acquittal as vindication for continuing his habits.

6. And in O'slimey's case there was
the kind of unanswerable documentary/physical proof that he had done what the plaintiff alleged. He was caught on tape sexually harrassing the plaintiff.

12. is that it?
I personally thought both were guilty, but was actually outraged only by Falafel. It's the over-the-top Jackobites lambasting anyone who disagrees with the verdict as a pro-Gitmo anti-due-process pro-Iraq-invasion baby-eater that I'm repelled by.
