Did Condi Rice say this with a straight face? OHMYF**KINGGOODNESS |
|
"The French plan which would somehow try to transfer sovereignty to an unelected people just isn't workable," U.S. National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice told reporters
Earth to Condi - if it wasn't for your boss stealing the White House even those he was not elected either with the majority and by supressing the voting rights of thousands of minorites, well you'd be unemployed yourself.
I'm pissing my pants everytime I read this, then I cry a bit because lets face it - Bush is in the white house

1. Who is 'transferring' it?? |
|
Iraqi sovereignty belongs to the Iraqi people...it hasn't been...and can't be....transferred anywhere.

2. What the hell is she talking about? |
|
"...transfering sovereignty to an unelected people"???
I think it is a freudian slip. She actually believes the US rules over the Iraqi's. They are our subjects. They can not take away our sovereignty over them. After all, who is in charge right now? Who rules right now?

Didn't she bring up "used WMD s on his own people" again?
I swear, I'm getting to the point where everytime I hear that woman talk I expect it to come out of her mouth so much that I can no longer tell whether I really DID hear it.

11. I believe it was Molly Ivins who said... |
|
... in another context, "These people are going to kill irony."
What's even more hilarious is that what she describes as the "French plan" is precisely the situation in Iraq, created by the the US, a council whose membership was hand-picked by the US, and which, by now, should realize that they have no actual control over anything but the drudge work, especially after Bremer said he would have to veto any attempt by the Council to schedule early elections....

This woman is a complete idiot. She had to be an idiot to agree to take the job of trying to be security adviser to Smirky, and she has flubbed it even worse than Smirk could have done on his own.
It's like Dumb and Dumber to the tenth power.
This sentence in her quote has no meaning.

8. Condi--you are a nightmare! |
|
Oh, Condi. They named an oil tanker after you, but they couldn't give you a brain.
Do they make you dance for dinner, Condi? They let you in the house, and everything?!?
This terrible creature is the one who equated civil rights with this preemtive war! She claimed "people" thought the Iraqis couldn't handle freedom...and now says that, no, they cannot!

14. **THIS** is the woman who is supposed to be a role model???? |
|
A role model for African Americans? A role model for women? Did she get her f-ing Ph.D. from a correspondence school??? This idiot isn't a role model for anybody, unless it's the Uncle Tom School for Budding Ho's.
An unelected people? What the f*** is that all about??? I thought soveriegnty was something that a nation, a people, had by virtue of "being there." Not by virtue of it being bestowed by this misAdministration.
What a loser. I can't believe that even the wingnuts seriously consider her as a choice for VP if Crashcart strokes out.

I mean, knowing the whole history behind Election 2000, I'd think I'd find another phrase other than "An unelected people"
Folks, I'm sending this comment to the Conservative Idiots list. This one is a damn freaking doozy!!!

18. I would have trouble saying it with a straight face because... |
|
The way it is worded. "It would SOMEHOW try to transfer sovereignty to an unelected people..." Somehow isn't a very descriptive word, while I don't particularly care for the French government something tells me that the Bush administration uhhhh what's a good word for made this up.

but who the hell is supposed to elect the Iraqui people, since they are the ones in question? If they AREN'T elected, does that mean they are in Iraq illegally? I mean, what the hell is she talking about, anyway? I'm a high school drop out, and I make more sense than she does.
