WHY are fundy Christians RECRUITING homosexuals?

What is the fundamentalist Christian AGENDA, in that they are ACTIVELY RECRUITING homosexuals to "change" themselves and adopt the fundamentalist's fanatic LIFESTYLE? In the story below you can see that the Christian group "Love" in Action is even pursuing TEENAGERS in their quest to gain more members in their radical organizations. Is it time for REAL Americans to finally stand up and recognize these radical right-wing groups for what they are? Voracious cults led by mullahs which stop at nothing to further their own AGENDAS? (Note: :crazy: Wow, it's hard to type this kind of rhetoric with a straight face, pardon the pun!)

Can gay people be turned straight?

If you ask the Christian group, Love In Action, the answer is yes.

If you ask most mental health associations, they'd say no and that reparative therapy can be emotionally scarring.

But the parents of a Bartlett teenager hope that LIA will straighten out their son. Last Monday, these parents forced their son into LIA's youth program, Refuge, at the group's headquarters in a former church building in Raleigh.

4. I think the name of the group is appropriate...

...although they would need to take the space out from between In and Action to make it accurate. Love Inaction is much more precise.

If they really wanted to show "love" they would stop trying to turn everyone into cookie cutter copies and love them for who they are rather than acting on bigotry to try change people.

whatever, they'll take anyone.

6. It has to do with what they think their mission is.

They think that their mission is to bring everyone in the world to Christ (to personally choose Christ, actually, as even living one's whole life for Christ doesn't count if you can't remember choosing it). They think that there's no way a homosexual can be a "real" Christian, and therefore, they need to work to get them "saved."

For the record, they're also doing this in prisons with criminals of all kinds, alcoholics and addicts of all kinds, divorced people, and anyone they consider a sinner. They aren't just going after one kind of people--they're going after everyone they think harms families or society or is "lost."
